2 probationers are employed at “Food Service”

2 more probationers have been employed through the mediation of the Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance. For this purpose, Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance, Dimitri Shashkini visited “Food Service” company. Distribution Company “Food Service” hired probationers as storage workers and they will get remuneration in the amount of 450 GEL per month. The company’s main direction is purchasing different production and distributing them.  “Food Service” plans diversification of its assortment, though mainly focuses on purchasing of national production. Representatives of the Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance regularly hold negotiations with different state and private companies. As a result, a lot of probationers were employed in Tbilisi as well as in different regions of Georgia. Ministry hopes that, in addition to “Food Service”, other companies will be willing to employ probationers, because their employment will not only assist in improving their financial condition, but also will contribute to crime prevention that, in its turn is the best guaranty for the public safety.
