Statement
On March 6th, around 6:10 pm. fire broke out in one if the living buildings of Ksani №7 Penitentiary Establishment. Fire was liquidated in fastest terms. Supposed reason of incident is short circuit. Exact cause will be determined by investigation.

Curing Programs in Penitentiary Establishments
Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance Khatuna Kalmakhelidze, together with First Lady of Georgia Sandra Elisabeth Roelofs and Deputy Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs Irakli Giorgobiani, visited Gldani №8 Penitentiary Establishment to get familiar with the implementation process of Methadone treatment program for drug addicted convicts.
